"Living in the One Percentile" (published by Xlibris) is author Melissa (Stachowski) Pagitt's way of telling her children just how loved and wanted they were from the very beginning and, to also tell of their connection to Zane, who is no longer with them. It is also her way of telling the world that her Zane was here, he did exist and he matters still.

A mother's boundless love for her children is expressed through this moving account of her struggles with fertility, her pregnancy with triplets and childbirth. It then relates the harrowing experience of waiting while her children are in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The joy of finally having her two babies, Chase and Zoey, is juxtaposed with her grief at the loss of her third child, Zane.

The book relates a touching story sharing the loss of a child and how there is life after such grief. Pagitt hopes that the book, "offers encouragement to those struggling with fertility issues, to those who have babies in the NICU and to those grieving the loss of a child and to not lose faith, even in your darkest hours."
