Sullivan Street Press, the leading green e-publishing company, announces the upcoming launch of Occupy this Book, written by Mickey Z. The new e-book is scheduled for launch February 15, 2014, but is available now for pre-order exclusively from the Sullivan Street Press website.

Mickey Z. is an established activist, editor, blogger and novelist who lives in Astoria, Queens. The author of 12 previous books and a well-known public speaker, his "provocative and bold" approach to veganism, animals rights and all else that he turns his activist attention to has inspired many to get involved. With Occupy this Book, Mickey Z. has taken his vast experience speaking to groups and translated it into language appropriate for reading. Now anyone, anywhere can learn the lessons of activism.

"Mickey Z.'s new book came out of discussions he and I had about how to extend his methodology beyond the confines of the five boroughs of New York City. Getting Mickey to stop for just a moment to reflect on the power of his work here, has been a great feat for Sullivan Street Press and I couldn't be prouder to publish Mickey's insights and advice to those who want to jump in now to help save this planet," said Deborah Emin, Founder of Sullivan Street Press.

Cindy Sheehan, known for her American antiwar activism is contributing to Mickey Z.'s work by writing a foreword, standing with Mickey to encourage all to fight with him and for us all. To add to the fun of Mickey Z."s e-book, Rick Cole has created a set of 'toons specifically for Occupy this Book.

It is never too late to become an activist, in fact, the world is waiting for you. Join Mickey Z. as he adds his message to the larger message of Sullivan Street Press to change the publishing paradigm.

About SULLIVAN STREET PRESS:
Founded 4 years ago, Sullivan Street Press entered the e-publishing domain to change the publishing paradigm. It recognized that for both financial and environmental reasons it was necessary to advocate for the rise of the e-book and the technology that makes all things digital possible. Responding to readers' concerns, many of whom aren't yet ready to commit to the e-book revolution, SSP began to have its books published in Print-on-Demand format on the Espresso Book Machine at McNally Jackson Books in New York City. In furtherance of the digital side of its publishing mission, the Scags Series is also available as in iPad app, powered by MAZ Digital.
