Michelle du Boariu was born in Romania, the home of Vlad the Impaler or as how people from all over the world know him as Count Dracula. This explains her fascination for vampires and it also serves as her inspiration to write "Mishra: Princess of the Living Dead" (published by Xlibris UK), the first book in a fiction series wherein the supernatural meets the natural in which together, they make this perfect realm called earth.

The book tells the story of Mishra, the princess of the living dead who was kidnapped and found out that there is a war going on in the supernatural world, and her father is the only one who keeps this world from not falling apart. At the same time, her father is targeted by someone from The Shadows who wants his power and his life. Mishra, her friends and their new allies will try to save Vlad and the whole supernatural world with it. Will they succeed?

"This book shows once again that we all are responsible for our choices," du Boariu points out. "Depending on our choices we'll be happy or we'll suffer, and at the same time, the book story shows us that we need to understand that our choices have repercussions towards the people around us."

"Mishra: Princess of the Living Dead" is a story about love, loyalty, friendship, family, abstinence and purity. It shows that the power of sacrifice in the name of love is a choice that all of us need to know and to share," du Boariu adds.

An excerpt from the book reads:

"Because you, Mishra Angelica, you are the daughter of Vlad,
Draculea! The army chief! Lord in the Romanian country! Leader of
all who are eternal!" utters a man's voice that Mishra does not know.
