In a turbulent landscape of political intrigue, capitalist agenda and power struggles, Nick finds himself facing internal conflicts of his own ambition and greed as well as his growing attraction to a spirited young Moravian missionary whose ideals clash against his own.

Inspiration for the novel was drawn from Molinski's stay in the Mosquito Coast of Nicaragua in 1990 during the last year of the Contra War. Intrigued by the diversity of the Mosquito Coast and its people, he thought there is perhaps no better place on Earth to tell the story of global imperialism and its effects on people.

As believable as it is compelling, "Miskito" is a brilliantly orchestrated tale of international intrigue, greed, power and what happens when these forces collide.
