Any answer offered by the church should take Scripture, tradition, logic and church policy into account, and Crum says he offers such an answer. While specifically addressing issues in the Methodist church, Crum's insight will also serve other churches seeking resolution.
"As sex behaviors and sexual norms change, such thorny questions will arise increasingly in the public's and the religious person's minds," said Dr. Crum.
