Meghan Miller, best known for representing the country as the first Miss America's Outstanding Teen in 2006 and as a contestant on season two of America's Got Talent, released her first illustrated children's book nationwide on August 20, 2010.

Kayla's Cape, for ages 4-10, tells the story of Kayla, who was always certain that given a cape she would be a super hero and save the world. When Kayla receives a cape for her birthday, she quickly discovers the delight and responsibility helping others brings, and how dreams do come true.
This is also true of the author-illustrator, Meghan Miller, who with her puppets in tow, travels the US helping children to understand the super power they carry within and encourages them to bestow kindness and love every day. "I wrote this book to inspire young children to believe in their inner strength and incredible ability to dream and believe in themselves." Miller said.

Featured in dozens of magazines, television shows and national venues, Meghan performs her ventriloquist act with the new addition of Kayla and her miraculous cape. She is known for her performance of Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious with her two puppets, Abner and Shannon, and I'm Telling You I'm Not Going with her puppet, Kat. She has performed with her multiple puppet characters at the House of Blues in Hollywood, The Planet Hollywood Casino, Universal Studios Orlando, Universal Studios Hollywood, Vent Haven Ventriloquist Convention and numerous other venues. Meghan has guest-starred on many television appearances, including The Today Show, USA Network Characters Welcome, CMT Insider, Inside Edition, and WB Kid Caster.

Meghan Miller is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in Senior Marketing where she was actively involved in her sorority, Alpha Phi. She dedicates her time and efforts to mentoring children through Expect Respect, a program that teaches positive relationships with friends, teachers and parents.
