Separately, they begin to unravel the strands of a vast web of deception, and come closer to its center - to Yucatan, where the cyclopean remnants of the dead Mayan civilization lie. The evidence uncovered by the protagonists as they converge upon the ruins suggest that the answers lie there, but only the ancient Mayans know what truths await them.
