Max and Luther are back to share more stories and tips for dog owners in "True Tails II from the Dog Park," being released on September 1st. The book, "as told to" authors Kari Sherman and Carey Laubenberg, features short stories, fun dog facts, and top ten lists from the dogs' perspective.
In the new book, Max and Luther share their picks for the top dog parks in the United States, offer fun facts about dogs that will interest adults and children alike, and recommend their favorite books about dogs.
"As dog lovers, our goal in all we do is to be both entertaining and educational," said Kari Sherman, Partner in Max & Luther Publications and co-author of "True Tails II from the Dog Park". Our motto says it all: "Life is not complete without a dog."
A launch event for "True Tails II from the Dog Park" will occur on September 20th at Warwick's Bookstore in La Jolla, Calif., amidst the authors' Southern California book signing tour.
The authors have partnered with the San Diego Humane Society. A portion of book sales will be donated to the organization. Max and Luther have been guests at the organization's monthly Doggie Café and Summer Animal Adventure Camp events. Max & Luther Publications was founded in 2014 by authors, Kari Sherman and Carey Laubenberg. The Southern California residents met at a local dog park when their dogs, Max and Luther a Puggle and Olde English Bulldog, became best friends.
