Maurice Kittrell has completed his new book "B-More Gangsta's and Gentlemen": a heartfelt story aimed at encouraging positive choices to promote good living and fulfillment.

Maurice was born and raised in Baltimore by his mother Cleo Stokes and his Grandmother, R.I.P Millie Kittrell. He never had a man in his household so he set out at an early age trying to be the man. After years of running the streets of west Baltimore the lifestyle that he would die for landed him in a prison in a prison cell. At the age of 20 he was sentenced to the same time that equaled his age. While incarcerated he began to write and form his life into a book and was determined to change his life forever.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Maurice Kittrell's eye-opening novel leads the reader to a resolution of change and hope even when on the darkest of paths.

In every person there's a Gangsta and a Gentleman. In the streets of Baltimore some are born this way or are raised up to become a product of their environment or their household. Either way at the end of the day there's a little bit or a lot of the two in each and every one of us. Life's all about choices and the decisions one makes determines the outcome of who and what they plan to be in life. For Duke and his crew all that mattered was money, fast women, exotic cars, and everything else that came with living the life of "B-More Gangsta's and Gentlemen".

Kittrell explains, "Even though life is short, the elusive high you get from being the man and calling the shots makes the reality of death or prison become someone else's reality until death or prison slaps you in the face, and changes your life forever."

Readers who wish to experience this reflective work can purchase "B-More Gangsta's and Gentlemen" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
