Mary Lou Quinn's newly published novel has taken a fresh new look on the complications that come with grief, alcoholism and recovery, with a great lesson to learn, trust your gut.

Quinn's new novel, "Lost and Found," encompasses a woman named Margaret Mary Murphy after the loss of her family and herself, as she tries to change her life geographically to come to terms with her losses.

"Margaret lands in the middle of a multi-agency task force operation trying to handle the drug problem in Tyler County of which Mundy, the new town, is a part," said Quinn. "Her timing is the worst, as usual for her, and her arrival sparks a series of deaths that ultimately threaten her own life and are based on a case of mistaken identity."

With many twists and turns, "Lost and Found" captivates its readers with a new town, local residents with a strange, intriguing past and the protagonist experiencing dark secrets, murder, a mysterious family curse, grief and more. These elements, combined with the rich familial history that is unveiled in Mundy, Maine, creates a diverse and complex story.

"I couldn't put this book down," said Heather Hayes, Amazon.com review. "The plot thickened at every turn with so many unexpected twists that were brought together at the end in an unanticipated way but made so much sense."
