LANDSDALE, Australia - The Renfrew Center Foundation for Eating Disorders cites 24 million Americans and 70 million individuals worldwide as the number of people affected by eating disorders. Author Mary Brooks is one of those people who have suffered from Anorexia Nervosa and Bipolar Disorder; a struggle she unveils within the pages of her memoir, "Mary Lives - A story of Anorexia Nervosa & Bipolar Disorder" (published by Xlibris AU)
Suffering from anorexia and depression since she was 12, Brooks never had it easy in life. Amidst the suffering, however, Brooks had the inner fire and passion to continue living life and be a victor over her harrowing condition. The proof of her triumph was the profession she loves and enjoys.
By telling her story, Brooks enlightens readers who suffer or suffered from the same condition she had; telling them that life offers so much more if only they will be strong enough to fight and never give in to their condition. A story of triumph and hope, "Mary Lives - A story of Anorexia Nervosa & Bipolar Disorder" is a testament to man's indomitable spirit.
