Using her own experience and sources as diverse as Aristotle's "Science of Being Altogether," author Mary Anneeta Mann has crafted her new book "There Are No Enemies: A Practical Philosophy of Life" (published by AuthorHouse). This book is the culmination of a lifelong pursuit to end war and embrace what she calls a "global conscience."

"There Are No Enemies" is a multi-faceted book that inspires people who are struggling to find meaning in their life and feel an inner discontent. Mann hopes readers will understand that within each one of them, because of the primacy and significance of the human conscience, they have the ability to find their own solutions. "We can enjoy our own happiness," she says, "ignite our own inner energy and know that we do make a difference in this world and each one of us can in however small of a way, make the world a better place."

An excerpt from "There Are No Enemies":

"I believe we will not learn to live in peace until human beings en masse look into their own hearts, find their own conscience and think and meditate upon their lives and feel that, if they all work together, they do have the ability to find their own personal freedom and their own self actualization of a life style that sheds resentment and hopelessness in favor of self empowerment and creativity. The essence of Peace is Goodwill."

This second edition has chapters on the real meaning of democracy, the understanding of the role of money in society, a call to women to become more relevant through dedicated hard work, a call for goodwill in all human dealings and a challenge to humans to understand their role in the "Life Force of the Universe."
