Mark Miller, a football coach and author has completed his new book, "Always a Tiger: Keep Movin' Forward'": an inspirational story about facing tragedy and adversity head-on. Within the framework of his Christian Faith, life lessons from the game of football, his military family heritage, and with the love and support of family and friends, Miller finds the endurance to weather losing his wife of 15 years to a 20-month battle with breast cancer.

After attempts at 5 different types of chemotherapy, including two clinical trials, Dana's cancer had spread to her lungs, liver and brain. She passed away leaving two daughters, Shelby 13 and Cameron 10, with Mark. In April 2009, Mark was involved in a car / motorcycle accident that resulted in the fatality of a retired Army Col. Along the way of Mark's coaching career, there has been a player murdered, another one drowned, 4 suicides, a colleague's newborn's fatal struggle with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) and unrealized dreams from multiple jailings.

'Always A Tiger' chronicles Mark's unique life journey as a proud 'Army Brat' whose average stay in one place was 18 months and involves a rich military family history. That family includes the 1964 #1 R.O.T.C. Cadet in the nation that accepted a commission, a retired brigadier general and 3 former P.O.W.s. Along the way, they would be involved in the 1968 Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War as well as the Battle of the Bulge in W.W. II. Family members have survived firing squads and wrongly being declared dead. As another coping mechanism for dealing with life's adversities, Mark further attributes identifying with and attempting to connect to the warrior's bloodline of his family's military history.

"Always a Tiger: Keep Movin' Forward" is written from the point of view of a common middle class man who, through all of the tragedy, had to go to work, deal with middle class financial means, and set an example for his children. The book is an introspective, inspiring, and spiritual memoir of a man whose life's career as an educator and coach has been dedicated toward the betterment of young people.

"Writing 'Always A Tiger' served as a way to help me heal, honor the memories of those people who have touched my life, say thank you for all of the love and support as well as give an accurate account of what their parents lived through for my daughters." - Mark Miller

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase "Always a Tiger: Keep Movin' Forward'" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.

Percentages of revenue from the book sales will serve as a college fund for his daughters and an attempt to endow a scholarship fund in his wife Dana's name.
