Marisa Recker Releases 'Some People Wonder'

Marisa Recker debuts as a published author with the release of "Some People Wonder" (published by Archway Publishing), an engaging story of a teenager's navigation through love, intimacy, and loss as she grows into womanhood and realizes that she must make her own world right first before she can find the right person.
In the book, readers will get to know Ellie, her life, her relationships and her story. Her love interest is Erik, a boy with a "bad boy" persona, but Ellie discovers that he is so much more than what high school has characterized him to be. Daniel is another character that Ellie bonds with through trials. These characters, as well as her family, and close friend, are the people that shape Ellie to become who she is.
The book highlights high school life, a part of life that Recker considers as pivotal as one grows up. For Ellie, it is where she dealt with her hardest battles thus far. The book captures these struggles through her eyes.
Putting on the garb of a coming-of-age story, "Some People Wonder" shows a relatable life story of "ups and downs," love, heartbreak and loss while going through the journey of growing up.
