Marie Farrell-Lindsay, a reading and writing enthusiast, originally from the West Indies, has completed her new book "This Is Me Growing up in My Country Montserrat, WI": a detailed narrative of the culture and traditions of Montserrat, West Indies as told by the author, who was born and lived in the country for a good part of her life.

According to Farrell-Lindsay, "(I) always wanted to write a book about my life back home, and many people who know (my) story, have encouraged me to share it in a book."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Marie Farrell Lindsay's unique tale describes her family, community, and the daily life in Montserrat, West Indies during her youth.

Farrell-Lindsay has lived in New York for thirty-eight years, but has never forgotten her "home" as she calls it. She was born in Montserrat, West Indies in 1956 to a large family. Her father was a shipwright and her parents were also farmers.
