From the creative and highly imaginative author Mariah Cantone-Basile comes a collection of all that is enchanted, magical, beautiful and pixie dust and fairies in "The Adventures of Katrina the Rhythmic Gymnast Fairy." Lush with life lessons and pure human emotions, this book offers delightful stories that feature the quintessence of friendship, family and relationships that children and children at heart will definitely love and enjoy.

This book revolves around the Cotton Fields behind Fairyland. It follows the many adventures of fairies Katrina, Madeline, Miranda, Bella the butterfly and Chloe the caterpillar.

"The Adventures of Katrina the Rhythmic Gymnast Fairy" has been put together based on the love and passion of rhythmic gymnastics that the author's daughter Katrina has so passionately been doing for six years. She competes in all competitions. She believes that it is a beautiful sport that she enjoys; rhythmic gymnastics is graceful, dainty, challenging, magical and beautiful.

Colorful and light-hearted in nature, this book aims to connect to all those who share the same passion for Rhythmic Gymnastics and love for fairies. The author hopes that readers from all ages will be entertained and will learn how to truly value friends, the essence of helping one another in times of need and how to accept a person because of who and what he or she is.

About the Author

Mariah Cantone-Basile was born in Kew, Melbourne, Australia. She completed her schooling in a private girl's college in Malvern, where she later went on to further her studies in art and languages. After completing her University studies, she traveled to Italy, where she lived in Rome and studied in Florence. Later traveled to Sicily where she studied and worked as an English teacher. She has always had a fascination for fairies and anything enchanted. Her daughter was born and that is when all her stories and reading of fairies and the enchanted life of the mystical lives of anything to do with fairies came together. Cantone-Basile has been writing stories of fairies for as long as she can remember. It was not until her daughter started rhythmic gymnastics six years ago, that she combined both together and that is how her stories were reborn. The beauty of rhythmic gymnastics and the enchanted fascination of fairies were put together and that's where the storyline came about. The author hopes she can engage and excite those who also have a love for the rhythmic gymnastics and fairies.
