Maria Giovanna Tomsich, author of poetry collections such as "Spanish Bank Poems/Poemario de Spanish Bank" and "Wanderers/Errabundos," engages poetry lovers in her new collection of poems, "Pabellon de Jim Pattison Y Despues/Jim Pattison Pavilion and After" (published by Trafford Publishing), inspired by a terrible illness.
Written in both Spanish and English, "Pabellon de Jim Pattison Y Despues/Jim Pattison Pavilion and After" analyzes multiple levels of consciousness, breaking apart reality and fitting it back together through rhyme. Tomsich turns her love of jazz as well as time spent recovering from an illness into evocative poetry that is sure to resonate with readers.
"This poetry book is a collection of experiences at different dimensions and levels, from psychological to physical and from past to present," says Tomsich.
"Pabellon de Jim Pattison Y Despues/Jim Pattison Pavilion and After" will be a featured title at the 2014 Liber International Book Fair. Held in Barcelona, Spain, Oct. 1-3, the event attracts more than 12,000 visitors annually, including publishers, agents, distributors, booksellers, librarians, educators and other industry professionals.
