Decorated retired U.S. Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, the man behind the story of heroism told in Lone Survivor, the New York Times bestselling book and riveting new movie starring Mark Wahlberg that premieres across the nation this week, today announced dates and special guests for Patriot Tour 2014. Warmly received by audiences across America in 2013, Luttrell is bringing his inspiring live stage experience, an evening filled with inspirational stories only he can tell, back to new cities this Spring to inspire America again. The tour schedule includes stops in Arizona, California, Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Awarded a Navy Cross for combat heroism, Luttrell and three fellow SEALs, all members of the U.S. Navy's elite special operations forces, were outnumbered by more than 200 Taliban fighters in the Hindu Kush mountain region of Afghanistan in June of 2005 during Operation Red Wing, a mission to kill or capture a high-ranking Taliban leader. After an intense gun battle, Luttrell was the lone survivor. Though he sustained multiple gunshot wounds and survived a horrific fall, he walked and crawled seven miles while waiting days for rescue.

For many, that would be the end of the story. For Luttrell, it was just the beginning. Where the words and images end, Luttrell's next journey began.

Born and raised in Texas, Luttrell began training for the SEALs at age 14. He worked hard and achieved his dream. Throughout his life, he has been many things-a son, a brother, a husband, a father, a bestselling author, the subject of a new Hollywood blockbuster and a decorated Navy SEAL. Every step of the way, there's been one constant: his love for and belief in his country.

And he is not alone. Patriots across America, those who have served, and those who have waited for them, know of service and sacrifice. But there is more that must be told.

In memory of his fallen brothers, Luttrell shares his amazing story of determination, valor and survival, live on stage in his Patriot Tour 2014, an evening filled with stories only he can tell, along with special guests at select stops including Chad Fleming, a retired U.S. Army Ranger and combat veteran honored with a Bronze Star, and Tara Kyle, widow of Chris Kyle, the former chief of SEAL Team 3 and the most lethal sniper in the U.S. military.

Whether it's been rebuilding his life with the help of his wife and children, honoring the sacrifice of his fallen brothers in his bestselling book and movie Lone Survivor, or supporting charities and foundations focused on helping returning veterans, Luttrell has never walked away from a challenge. Today, Luttrell is chairman of the board of Lone Survivor Foundation, which provides unique educational, rehabilitation, recovery and wellness opportunities to U.S. Armed Forces members and their families.

Tickets and dates for the Patriot Tour 2014 are available at http://www.PatriotTour.com. Select Stops on the Patriot Tour include appearances by these very special guests:

Capt. Chad Fleming, U.S. Army, Retired
During his six deployments overseas with the U.S. Army's elite 3rd Ranger battalion, Capt. Fleming was wounded in combat on three separate occasions. He has undergone more than two dozen surgeries, one of which resulted in the amputation of his left leg. While most would assume this type of injury would conclude military service, Capt. Fleming was deployed not once but twice since his injuries, both times choosing to go back to the same unstable area of Iraq that cost him his leg. After serving with distinction and receiving numerous awards and decorations-including the Bronze Star-Capt. Fleming retired from active duty but he still remains a vital part of the 75th Ranger Regiment. In addition to completing marathons, triathlons and cycling events, he is also a sought after motivational speaker for organizations like the United States Olympic Hockey Team, the Ohio State Buckeyes football team and several Fortune 500 companies.

Taya Kyle
Taya is the widow of Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. As the chief of SEAL Team 3, Chris served numerous combat tours, including four in Operation Iraqi Freedom. For his bravery in battle, Chris was honored with many awards and citations, including two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor and two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. Following his combat deployments, Chris became chief instructor for training Naval Special Warfare Sniper and Counter-Sniper teams, and he authored the Naval Special Warfare Sniper Doctrine, the first Navy SEAL sniper manual. Tragically, Chris was recently killed in Texas, but Taya keeps the spirit of her husband and his service alive, spreading the word about his New York Times No. 1 bestselling autobiography, American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military, and his latest book, the posthumously published, American Gun.
