The book follows one family of horse lovers through joy and heartbreak. The story is set in Northern California where girls ride horses along pristine coastal beaches. Together they roam sandy trails lined with majestic redwood trees. They discover the magic of summer camp, new best friends and unexpected growing pains. This story shares a "pure love that is unconditional and life changing," as it connects girls and families together for life.
"It's a universal truth: girls love horses. All can relate because they had similar experiences," Kerr shares.
Based on her personal life experiences, "One Love" aims to impart to readers the importance of the love between a girl and her horse. "It creates trust, responsibility, compassion and love," Kerr adds.
