Inspired by the Holy Bible and his faith in God, author Ray Burt's new book, "Moralistic Bible" (published by Xlibris AU), calls on readers to return to the teachings of Jesus Christ. He likens modern man to those who crucified the messiah 2000 years ago, which can be reversed by following the teachings of the Scripture and the assumption of a Christian life.

Burt hopes to instill in his readers hope and faith in the Lord. By acknowledging the truth of the Biblical passages rather than evading it, he opens the way for a spiritual renewal and an end to the violence he sees in modern man; the trait he compares to the antagonists who nailed Christ on the cross. His book even warns readers of the dangers of sin.

"In the beginning there was the father, and the woes warned to man were many if they did not follow the ways of the Almighty. The priests of nations and many of their seed were godforsaken. Woe to the fathers and the alliance of the evil. Woe to the factions of ancient Romans and idolaters who indulged in the Seven Deadly Sins. Woe to thee," say the verses of the "Moralistic Bible."

Burt says that the Bible is clear about the benefits of leading a clean and moral life and the punishments and travails of those who do not. The "Moralistic Bible" reinforces that point for modern day audiences.
