In his new novel "The Orthodoxy of Arrogance" (published by Trafford Publishing), author M.B. Moshe tells the heartwarming story of a family coming to terms with their past while sorting through history using richly detailed, complex characters that come to life on each page.

Mordichai "Moritz" Lebenschitz is the self-centered, pompous man who drives the story. His wife, Hannah, is a weak-willed, mousy woman who comes with Mortiz from Germany to America. He molds her into a strong woman who eventually finds the tenacity to confront her husband and his questionable past.

Hanna and Moritz have a daughter, Yeshiva, whose complicated relationship with Hannah mirrors the power struggles often seen between teenage daughters and their mothers. Yeshiva has a secret friend, Sarah Greene, who shares a love of disco dance and learns an important lesson about vanity after a disfigurement changes her life forever.

An excerpt from "The Orthodoxy of Arrogance":

"I can see social networking someday where people are allowed to follow what other people are doing from day to day, hour to hour, even from minute to minute; that is, if they're stupid enough to document everything they do. There's the capacity for using algorithms to chart how people react in a certain situation or how something will affect a certain portion of the population. Hannah, imagine what can be accomplished. Imagine how what we have accomplished can be diminished."

Moshe has expertly crafted a story that highlights the strengths and weaknesses of human emotions, what he calls "an indictment of the indomitability and fragility of the human condition."
