With the successful launch of their latest book "Managers as Mentors, Building Partnerships for Learning", authors Chip R. Bell and Marshall Goldsmith are celebrating by giving away 100 copies of their best seller as a gift with purchase.
The unique leadership book focuses on mentors building partnerships for learning and has quickly risen on the best seller charts including reaching #8 on 800-CEO-READ. In the book, the authors place increased emphasis on the mentor as a learning catalyst for the protégé rather than as someone who simply hands down knowledge.
Since the book's June 2013 release, the authors have received large volumes of personal stories from readers describing mentors with those characteristics and how they have impacted their lives.
One such reader, Joe, writes of his mentor, Gil, "He helped me see the bigger picture while keeping focused on both the human and business aspects of developing others and being successful in achieving business objectives."
Bell and Goldsmith are inviting 100 readers to help extend the book's reach and impact. The authors are looking for readers who have benefited from having a mentor in their life and willing to share their story. In return, the authors will send the participants' mentors a free copy of "Managers as Mentors" along with a personal note crediting the reader with the gift and sharing their story with the recipient.
To participate, readers are asked to share who the mentor is and how they impacted them through mentorship. The offer is limited to the first 100 readers who sign up.
