Author Luisa Letran has always been eager to share a story. She has decided to write it because of some unsettled times her family was faced with. They were slowly drifting into their own separate lives. She felt that by writing this story and using the names of her family members, she might be able to restore the drifters and celebrate it through her book. She came to the conclusion that most people don't help each other and this fell heavy on her heart.

Her book titled, The Tale of the Tails... is a fantasy story of love, hope, family and helping others to live a better life is set in post World War II in Spain, where a family was left devastated and fatherless. It tells the story of two young sisters, Pilar and Dolores Letran Cabanillas and their struggles living life without their parents. The good sister Dolores carries a golden star on her forehead with three wishes if she is good and the other sister Pilar has a long hairy tail that appears on her forehead if she is bad, and only when she is good was when the tail would slowly shrink away.

One day, Dolores asked for Pilar's help. She needs to be at school early to study for a test. She needs Pilar's assistance to get things done at home. Pilar needs to get their mother out of bed and give her breakfast before she can go to school. Pilar agreed to help her sister. Dolores placed her trust on Pilar. She felt that it would be good for her sister to try and reach for their mother. But little did Dolores know, Pilar is not going to school after all. Leaving her alone will end up in chaos, one that will change their lives forever.

The Tale of the Tails... is an easy-to-read book that will appeal to readers because of the happy nature the story brings. It highlights how hearts are healed through genuine love, willingness to change, love for music and infinite creativity. It also reflects on the magic that spirituality brings upon one's soul and what is just needed is to open oneself to it.

This book will be featured at the 2013 Frankfurt Book Fair in Frankfurt, Germany, on October 9 - 13, 2013.
