Author Louis A. Kelsch sets out to demystify the apocalypse and prepare readers for its imminent arrival in his cautionary new book, "The Apocalypse Has Begun: A View of the Restoration of the World for the Second Coming of Christ" (published by iUniverse).

"Everyone in the world is expecting an Apocalypse and is curious (about) what will happen to them and when will it happen," Kelsch writes. "This book is a warning to our society to repent and be spared or rebel and be destroyed."

"The Apocalypse Has Begun" seeks to teach readers everything they need to know about the apocalypse, including who will survive and who will perish. Kelsch notes that "the minimal standard of acceptance to be spared during destruction during the apocalypse is what the Scriptures refer to as an 'honorable man.'" He sets out to define exactly what that means, writing:

"My opinion of an 'honorable man or woman' is one who respects our heavenly Father, and is not given to profanity, or excessive drink or the use of habituating drugs; is morally chaste; does not cheat their fellow man; and has a good sense of right and wrong."

"The effects of the events discussed in this book are global," Kelsch explains. "All mortals will be affected, including all animal life."
