Lou Kato, an inspired author, has completed her new book "The Adventures of Penny Penguin": a warm-hearted story about a penguin from the zoo that is very hot and is on an adventure to find the South Pole. Where he ends up is another story.

Lou Kato was born in West Virginia. Military life took Lou and her family many places around the world. Her children's reactions and enthusiasm of new places and experiences enticed her to write children's stories. The Adventures of Penny Penguin was inspired by their visit to the Washington Zoo while living in Washington.

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Lou Kato's charming tale takes the reader on a journey through Washington D.C. with the help of Penny Penguin.

In "The Adventures of Penny Penguin", Penny makes a daring escape from the Washington Zoo. He wanders around the busy city streets in search of a special place his mother told him about. Lost and alone, eventually, Penny meets a kitty cat whom he can talk to in animal talk. Soon, this unlikely duo becomes friends and their adventure begins!

Readers who wish to experience this fantastic work can purchase"The Adventures of Penny Penguin" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
