Author Lou Daniel weaves a tale filled with sex, romance, murder and jealousy in his new novel, "I Am Not My Father: The Story Of My Life" (published by AuthorHouse).

Set in Scarsdale, a wealthy area of Westchester County in upstate New York, "I Am Not My Father" follows the adventures of Tony Johns and his wife, Linda. Connie is Linda's best friend and becomes Tony's lover, and she's not the only woman he enjoys extramarital affairs with.

"My book is all action, a lot of action," Daniel says. "It is real life. It will put the reader on the edge of their seat and have them coming back for more."

An excerpt from "I Am Not My Father":

"On the drive to the bank, I was thinking about what Carla had said, about her being home all day. Maybe I could get away for a couple of hours. I could tell Linda that I had to meet with a client. I've had lunch with clients before. I had to think about it, I had Carla's cell phone number in my phone. I knew better then to call the house phone, Linda's always checking the caller I. D. to see if she missed any calls."
