MURRIETA, Calif.
Author Lorenzo Keeler hopes to show readers just how real, crucial and effective the Word of God truly can be, via a message he directly addresses to his son, in his new memoir, "Fruit for My Seed" (published by WestBow Press).
"For years, my lack of wisdom and knowledge resulted in many mistakes and negative consequences," Keeler says. "After giving my life to Christ and studying the Word of God, I realized just how blinded I was from the truth."
In this new book, Keeler relates more than 150 scriptures to everyday experiences, showing readers God's direction for their situations on Earth. Keeler says that God not only provides humanity instruction, but also a recipe for abundant, prosperous living.
Keeler takes readers on a journey through his personal life, depicting real-life experiences with complete honesty. Although the book is mainly addressed to his own son, Keeler hopes all readers can learn and grow after learning of his challenges and struggles.
"We all face situations where a word of encouragement is necessary," Keeler says. "The Word of God is something we can trust, stand on and depend on to get us through, no matter what it is we encounter."
