The new novel "Walking Down a Street Named Grace" (published by WestBow Press), by Lora Liles, is one woman's story of redemption, in which she overcomes the addictions of her heart by placing her trust, future and hope faithfully in Jesus Christ.

From lost to saved, from legalistic acts of worship to a loving relationship and trust in the Lord, true repentance and true forgiveness of personal sins led Liles' protagonist out of the destructive and broken life of drugs, homelessness and love in all the wrong places. Out of the darkness, she finds light in the arms of God's grace and mercy. She seeks to offer faith and truth as well as hope for a life lived day by day not perfectly but perfectly saved by a God who is, was, and always will be exactly what hearts most crave.

An excerpt from "Walking Down a Street Named Grace":

"She rarely had trouble getting money because she was willing to do what she had to in order to earn it and she would share her bounty with those, at times, who were struggling. Maybe this was her way of trying to maintain what little dignity she had left. Maybe this was her way of trying to gain acceptance, of sorts, by the God she thought had abandoned her. She made certain, however that the others in her circle that had some power, as well, did not take her kindness for weakness ... there were times when she had to fight, and fight hard."

"I want the readers to know and understand that as long as there is breath," Liles says, "there is hope for even those living the darkest and most broken of lives. God loves every one of us."
