Local Non-Profit Teams with Scholastic online Teacher Store to Award Classroom Book Grants

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ The Meemic Foundation, a non-profit organization created by Meemic Insurance Company, has announced a partnership with Scholastic online Teacher Store to award local educators with classroom grants. The Scholastic Teacher Store $100 Book Grant offers an opportunity for educators to purchase new reading materials in schools across Mich., Wis., and Ill.

The grant application only requires educators to answer three simple questions. Applications will be accepted June 1-30. Winners will be announced by Aug. 15. "New reading materials are important to enrich the learning experience both inside and outside of the classroom, and at all grade levels," said Pamela Harlin, spokesperson for Meemic. "We want to encourage all members of our educational community to apply for a book grant before the deadline to enhance their classroom experience."
