Liv Young, an author and educator, has completed her first book "Once Chance to Live Young - The First Colorfully Candid Diary": a powerful work of modern fiction with twists and turns that make this enthralling page turner an engrossing obsession from start to finish.

On how to describe the book, its message, and the characters, author Liv Young said, "I would describe the book as a Christian book that primarily targets an urban audience of teen girls. The message that I seek to share with the world is that you can speak with God about anything. He is our confidant and best friend when those whom we love the most go missing. The love God provides is nothing to shy away from or reject because of the emotions and experiences one has dealt with. He sees all, knows all, and loves all of us despite our mistakes. It is my desire to show every reader that they provide the color that brightens an otherwise dull life, and that they can experience the boldness to be true to who God created them to be without fear of rejection from anyone else. It is also my desire to show them that they don't have to feel ashamed to speak about candid issues: school, home, sex, drugs, alcohol, physical appearance, depression, or suicide. It is their ability to confront the issues that will help to set them free."

Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, Liv Young's poignant tale is an inspirational work which illustrates the healing power of belief and the freedom and truth the Holy Spirit brings to light.

Young asks readers to imagine opening a diary and finding their own thoughts written there on the pages. What would they do? Close it in embarrassment? Read each page avidly, excited that someone finally understands? Anya Allen, London Fox, and Meschell Anderson are surprised by how complicated life has become now that they are in high school. Anya's the daughter of an overprotective preacher, London has no clue who her father is, and Meschell is constantly disturbed by all of the noise in her neighborhood-including her parents, who argue a lot. Despite their different circumstances and the drama that surrounds each one of them, the three soon become inseparable companions. After all, they know what it's like to outgrow their childhood friends and they know how much it hurts too. Join Anya, London, and Meschell on a journey to find deeper meaning in life, as they explore how their faith in Jesus can ease the pain of the transition they are experiencing from girlhood into maturity.

Readers who wish to experience this inspiring work can purchase "Once Chance to Live Young - The First Colorfully Candid Diary" at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes store, Amazon, Google Play or Barnes and Noble.
