Lisa Ford Releases Picture Book, MY FRIEND BILLY

Nathan is a unique little boy with a friend named Billy who always plays with him. They both enjoy each other's company so much and do many adventurous things together.

"My Friend Billy", an illustrated picture book written by Lisa Ford, is based on a series of children books that tells the story of Nathan, a young boy who has Down syndrome. However, the focus of these books is Nathan's imagination and creativity.

About the Author

Lisa Ford wanted to create original stories for her son David to read. She realized later on that her stories could be a learning tool as well as funny for her son. While in the process of creating, she was inspired to write about her nephew, Nathan who has Down syndrome.
