Linda Taylor Newton, a brilliantly creative woman with an ever-burning passion for the "Art of Storytelling," publishes her new children's fiction, titled The Adventures of Katelyn, Gracie the Ghost and the Magic Horse. Inspired by her grandfather's legacy of storytelling, and her own grandchildren's continued fascination for her own tales, Newton finally pens a story of her compelling epic saga of two worlds-one world of realism and the other of fantasy-woven together with the treads of family and friendship.
In Part One of the book, Katelyn's Magical Discoveries: Upon moving to an old Victorian home in the country, Katelyn first discovers a ghost, named Gracie, living in the attic. Secondly, she finds that that her dream horse, Princess Starr, has some unusual magic of its own. When her prize horse is kidnapped, she and her ghost friend, Gracie, heroically search for her horse, taking Katelyn into another dimension, where she is wonderstruck at her amazing discoveries.
In Part Two, Katelyn's first adventure, takes her to Faerie Hill where she is magically transported by way of a rabbit hole, into the world of Faeries and Leprechauns. She is totally enchanted by this fantasy world, but she finds herself in the middle of an age old dispute between the Faeries and the Leprechauns. With the help of her ghost friend and her magic horse, she is able to help solve the dilemma and save the seasons for Mother Nature.
A perfect blend of fantastical characters, intriguing storyline, and real life-changing lessons, The Adventures of Katelyn, Gracie the Ghost and the Magic Horse is a storybook that will continue to speak to the hearts of all young readers around the world long after its final pages have been turned.
