Promoting Annie Tillery Mysteries has been a project that has propelled author, Linda Maria Frank, into the world of marketing in a big way. Using such marketing vehicles as local access TV to produce her own author interview show, The Writer's Dream, she has been able to network many connections. One of the prizes of this networking endeavor has been getting an interview with Don McCauley on The Author Show.

The interview includes such topics as: where ideas for plots and characters come from, how one navigates through the publishing process, what research is entailed, and how much forensic science Frank puts in her books. The benefits from this interview are the strong Internet presence and the many listeners who click on the site and the show.

The interview on The Author Show will start to air on Aug. 26. Click on the link and scroll to the bottom of the page for the broadcast schedule. On Aug. 26, Frank's show will appear on the scroll down menu of the radio dial. It will air continuously for a year. It will be rebroadcast as a feature on Sept. 6, 7 and 8.

About Linda Maria Frank and Annie Tillery Mysteries:

After many years in the teaching profession, Linda Maria Frank, the author of Annie Tillery Mysteries, has launched a new career. Inspired by a childhood passion for the Nancy Drew series and the popular television series, CSI, she successfully married an appealing heroine (Annie Tillery) with gripping story plots to create these new fiction books for mystery readers.

THE MADONNA GHOST has earned the distinctive "Editor's Choice" and "Rising Star" awards. GIRL WITH PENCIL DRAWING, the second book in the series, ramps up the adventure and suspense. Annie stays one step ahead of the bad guys by the skin of her teeth.

She recently retired from Adelphi University where she supervised science student teachers. To quote, "Writing, publishing, and marketing books is a full time job, and it's time to change careers."

Today she collaborates with author, Lois W. Stern, on a project called Tales2Inspire, a contest and project of authors helping authors. Frank also give s a portion of the proceeds from her books to the Interfaith Nutritional Network.

Presently Frank is involved in a project at LTV in East Hampton called "The Writer's Dream", an interview show where authors discuss the many different aspects of the profession. The show is aired on Cablevision 20, and can be seen on YouTube.

Her ultimate goals are: to find an agent who will present her books to the TV or film industries, to find venues to present my books and programs, and to organize book fairs as events for non-profit organizations to raise money.
