Life of Timothy J. Maude Detailed in New Book

As the historian for the U.S. Army's Adjutant General's Corps, author Stephen E. Bower tells the story of one of its distinguished members who was killed tragically in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. His new biography "I'm Tim Maude, and I'm a Soldier: A Military Biography of Lieutenant General Timothy J. Maude" (published by iUniverse) details the life and Army career of the highest-ranking military official to lose his life in that day.

The biography highlights Maude's advancement through the ranks and to his nomination and eventual promotion to lieutenant general, the highest rank that an officer in U.S. Army's Adjutant General's Corps can attain. "I'm Tim Maude, and I'm a Soldier" is also the story of an Army family and its place within U.S. Army History from the Vietnam era to the losses occurring on September 11, 2001.
