Author Liam Moiser has received a Reader's Favorite Book Award for his novel "Moore Field School and the Mystery". He also received Honourable Mention awards at the 2013 London Book Festival and at the 2014 New York Book Festival. This book is the first in the Moore Field School Series, aimed at young readers, which continues with "Incidents at Moore Field School".

What exactly is the mystery at Moore Field School? The Manchester school is about to close down, but at the last minute, the headmistress Miss Moore moves the school to Lakeview, a place she has always liked.

Samantha's parents teach at the school and her best friend is Jessica. Just before the first term starts at Lakeview, the two students go to camp, where they hear about a local haunted house. Meanwhile, some scary men are searching for long-lost trophies and will do anything to find them. They even search Miss Moore's office to discover where the trophies could be found.

What is happening with the trophies and how is the school involved? Could there be a connection between the trophies and the haunted house? Find out when you read Moore Field School and the Mystery.

"'Moore Field School and the Mystery'" took me back to my childhood and time spent reading Enid Blyton. An idyllic setting in the English countryside with an inspiring head mistress was reminiscent of Malory Towers, while the determined sleuthing that ensued had a touch of the Five-Find Outers. The story is carefully crafted and pulls the reader into trying to solve the puzzle ahead of the protagonists. I like the characters Samantha and Jessica, Ben and Tom add some balance and boy appeal ... The first book is clearly setting up the series as the mystery never gets solved, but the plot thickens with ghosts added, rather nonchalantly, towards the end. Middle years will enjoy this, no doubt, and parents can be assured that the content is wholesome. For those who love a series, 'Moore Field School and the Mystery' will not disappoint." - Nora Ryan, author Dragon Quest, www(dot)noraryanbooks(dot)com

Cliffhangers galore haunt this second book of the series that takes place at Moore Field School in the heart of England.

The story continues as students wonder what they can do to get back the school's trophies that have gone missing. Miss Moore, the headmistress, used to attend the old school at the site, and has plenty of friends who have died. These spirits turn out to be the ghosts that students Samantha and Jessica have been talking to!

Another student named Olivia is worried about her dad because he once again announces that he won't be home until Easter. Even more intriguing, the men seeking the trophies use Olivia's father as bait to get what they want. Why is all this mayhem happening at Moore Field School?

"These books for young readers offer clever plots and imaginative mysteries by an award-winning author. We are thrilled to announce their release," said Robert Fletcher, CEO of Strategic Book Publishing and Rights Agency.
