Author Ralph L. Tilley imagines what biblical figure Noah would have to say to a modern-day pastor in his new Christian novel, "Letters from Noah" (published by CrossBooks).

"I have always been fascinated with this man - the only household head and preacher - who walked with God while surrounded with unprecedented evil," Tilley explains. "Noah is a paramount example for our age of a person who walked with God and lived righteously in a corrupt environment."

"Letters from Noah" imagines that Noah is writing a series of letters - 36 in all - to a pastor named Christopher. Filled with lessons and reflections, the letters cover a wide variety of subject matter. Tilley is hopeful that readers will find their faith strengthened and discover a new dedication to Christ in the pages of this inspirational new book.

Praise for "Letters from Noah":

"Ralph I. Tilley has reclaimed a classic style of Christian inspirational literature. Once again we somehow hear the voice of righteous Noah, who reminds us of the ancient values he lived by and that we need to take to heart, as we live among our own evil generation. These delightful letters bring strength and encouragement, because they are rooted in Scripture and conveyed in a plainspoken yet eloquent style."

-Pastor Jim Cymbala, author, "Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire"
