Lesley J. Doherty Releases WALKING IN THE RAIN

Once a child growing up in the England countryside, author Lesley J. Doherty reflects on past events with her life-given wisdom in hopes of helping readers avoid the very pitfalls to which she fell prey. In "Walking in the Rain" (published by AuthorHouse UK), she details a life of joy, love, loss and motherhood.

Doherty's book begins with her childhood, much of which was spent in the small town of Shorne, England. Doherty recalls the many times she played in the woods, which acted as her playground. She then recounts numerous other noteworthy events from her childhood, emphasizing the innocence and carefree nature of her youth; her adult life tells a very different story.

"Walking in the Rain" takes readers through Doherty's life as she recalls moments she loved and moments she loathed, offering retrospective commentary and advice. She says she wasted much of her life, something she hopes to help readers avoid doing with their own lives.
