From author Leo Grebe comes 12 life balancing continuums, a book that challenges readers to engage in self-diagnosis and encourages them to take steps towards a more meaningful and rewarding life. This practical self-help tool focuses exclusively on specific components to foster self-renewal in harmony with the constantly changing times. Deeply perceptive, it equips one with a new perspective to see how the world works and how to remain an active, functional participant of society.

Each person possesses a unique behavioral and psychological makeup that needs considerable examination and improvement. These areas in need of examination transcend parochial differences in philosophy, culture, or religion and, if pursued, will help a person regard the self and others with more understanding, discernment, and love. Keying off Plato's idea that an unexamined life is not worth living, he conceived a tool for self-examination with a progression of points that allows an individual to see where he or she falls and what changes are needed to improve the overall quality of life.

In this self-help book, readers will realize that there are a variety of elements that hinder happiness. Assessing the self using the continuums Grebe devised, one will be galvanized to take initial steps to improve certain aspects of life warranting development. On top of a substantial commitment of time, effort and emotion, one will subject the self to diagnosis, setting objectives, and engaging in promising behaviors. In the end, it requires recording successes and failures until the desired objectives are more closely met.

In today's society where more and more are becoming over-dependent on technology and are doing less and less meditation and study of self, 12 life balancing continuums affords one a chance to thoroughly introspect and modify thoughts, feelings, behaviors and relationships that hinder growth, happiness and success.

About the Author
Leo Grebe grew up in Central Missouri, the oldest of two children in a stable family. Both children went on to obtain doctor's degrees. He started his career in education as a teacher, then administrator, a state department of education consultant, and an educational-center director. He owned steakhouse franchises and operated up to 10 restaurants at one time. This was followed by owning and operating an executive recruiting company for 20-plus years. Most of the recruiting included engineers and plant managers. Later, as part of moving toward retirement, he sold real estate. Interestingly, he has experience as a bureaucrat and as an entrepreneur and enjoys the divergent thought processes each requires. He has been married to his wife, Jane, for 52 years and has two grown children, both with advanced degrees and gainful employments.
