Larayssa J. Sharper Offers 'A Way Out,' Healing for Broken Women Image Larayssa J. Sharper considers herself a woman after God's own heart. She models herself after "The Proverb 31 Woman: The Wife of Noble Character." She conducts Bible studies and meetings to empower women and build the character of those that attended. In order to facilitate a wider audience, she releases "A Way Out" (published by AuthorHouse), a book of healing for broken women.

"Knowing that someone has experience the same hurt, provides healing and let's you know you are not unique to your situation. It's basically giving your testimony of how God eased your pain," Sharper expresses.

The overall theme of the book is emotional healing that is found in God. Sharper explains that the book contains comforting words from one woman to another expressed through poetry and scriptures "from the heart."

In terms of social relevance, the book is hoped to provide enlightenment for readers who are looking for genuine love and happiness. "I would like readers to feel empowered. Knowing that within time, healing comes and pain fades with prayer and trusting in Jesus," Sharper adds.
