Laila Anwarzai Ayoubi, author, associate professor, diplomat, linguist and Afghanistan native, has completed her new book "Niki's Honor": a gripping and potent story about the brutal acts committed against women.

She credits her father, General Mohammad Asef Anwarzai, with instilling in her a deep appreciation for peace and equality. He raised his four daughters and four sons as equals, like most Afghan families, with daughters receiving the same love and privileges as the sons.
