Published by New York City-based Page Publishing, L.L. McAllister's gripping and exhilarating work of fiction is one that readers won't be able to put down until the very end!

A dark-robed preacher cries out in agony against a maniacal force attempting to destroy him and all he loves. Held hostage against a flaming wooden floor in the belly of a fiery church hidden away in a forgotten valley, his voice travels to the snow-covered mountains of Washington State and Arron who look's on in anguish as Anna falls into a deep trance and begins to recite a story lost to humanity and concealed in time. As her tears fall, Clovis is sent to search out rumors of things slipping into the dreams of the innocent children of Portland, Maine. While the wrinkled face of the Master and the wizardry of the unholy alliance, once again walks the streets of Portland, Clovis is thrown in with Carolitus to search out the truth. A young boy is added to the unlikely duo as they head off to the wastelands of Wyoming to find the truth of an age old myth and, perhaps, the box they all search for. Yet deep in the hallways of time, as the metal clad warrior-translator lays injured, three young people, running for their lives, take on the beast that would destroy all they know. Michael, Mary, and Jami escape old Scotland aboard a ship headed to the New World and a church-school created by the hands of tiny human beings from another land, and lost in an obscure valley. But don't forget; Old Bill and Ruth are also there.
