Leading Estates of the World is exceptionally proud to announce that more than $800,000,000 USD in properties presented in The Renaissance Issue have sold.

The original international magazine showcasing preeminent residential estates was first published in 1969 and is now under the new ownership of co-publishers and Estates Club Legacy Members, Chris Webster and Owen Gwyn. The Renaissance Issue featured 65 elite properties located in 13 countries on five continents. Several recent sales are achieving notable attention, primarily the sale of the iconic W.T. Waggoner Ranch in Texas, as well as the Joan Rivers penthouse in Manhattan, the historic Twin Pines on the shores of South Lake Tahoe, and Chateau du Crestet, a magnificently restored 12th Century Monastery in the Midi Pyrenees of France.

Ever since being listed at $725 Million, the W.T. Waggoner Ranch achieved constant global attention and headlines, and especially now as the largest ranch sale in US history. Listing Broker Bernard Uechtritz of Dallas-Ft. Worth brokerage, Briggs Freeman | Sotheby's International Realty, received the highest possible praise from the sellers, who felt that the brokerage team had found the ideal buyer in Stan Kroenke, a "man who they agreed shared a sense of tradition, love of the land, and loyalty to the people who work here" as expressed by Waggoner family heir, Helen Biggs Willingham. Manhattan Estates Club brokerage, The Corcoran Group, was also proud to represent the sale of the late Joan Rivers pre-war Manhattan penthouse to Prince Muhammad bin Fahd of Saudi Arabia. The full price sale at $28 million, with multiple offers presented, has been publicized around the world. In beautiful South Lake Tahoe, Susan Lowe of longstanding Estates Club Legacy Member, Chase International, announced one of Lake Tahoe's largest sales of the year with the successful representation of the historic Twin Pines estate designed by the celebrated architect, Julia Morgan, designer of the Hearst Castle. And lastly, the magnificent property that graced the cover of The Renaissance Issue of Leading Estates of the World, Chateau du Crestet, a 12th Century monastery converted into a spectacular contemporary estate by French architect Roger Anger, was also a sale of great note by Irish broker William Montgomery, a long time Estates Club member and highly regarded broker in not only the UK, but across Europe. Co-Publisher Chris Webster observes "Bill's sale illustrated once again that the luxury property market is truly worldwide, with an Irish broker selling a French property to a Canadian!"

Leading Estates of the World's co-publishers, Chris Webster and Owen Gwyn, shared "we are privileged to have had the opportunity to step into the shoes of founders and longtime friends, Pamela and Robert Kelsey, and to enjoy the incredible success of our first issue, which represented truly exceptional properties in addition to the finest real estate professionals on the planet." The next issue of Leading Estates of the World is in production currently and slated to reach the homes of tens of thousands of the most discerning households around the world this coming May. A freshly curated selection of extraordinary estates will soon be unveiled, once again providing the combined surprise and grandeur in viewing the leading estates of the world.
