Lighting the way through life's transitions of emotions and experiences, Lynda Harris uses lanterns to guide readers through whatever life throws their way.
In Lanterns of the Soul, Harris reveals a truthful, passionate and heartfelt book of poetry. Divided into different "lanterns," each section addresses a variety of topics such as family, faith, philosophy and man's mortality, making it easy for the reader to reflect on their own emotions whenever life experiences call.
This poetic autobiography bares a collection of Harris' personal poems, which after a lifetime of inspiration and writing, each "lantern" begins with a poem Harris wrote as a teen, and progresses to poems inspired by time and reflection.
"This book was written by and about an ordinary woman with a very ordinary life," Harris jokes. "I always thought it was easier to put my thoughts on paper and I hope these topics can relate to every other ordinary person."
Lanterns of the Soul reveals Harris's confessions on both the extraordinary and mundane life experiences that will enable others to laugh, cry, and identify.
