NEW YORK, May 26, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ Skyhorse Publishing will partner with author Kristi Carlson to publish Eat Like A Gilmore, an unofficial cookbook inspired by the much beloved hit television series, Gilmore Girls. The book will be released later this year, just in time for the rumored release date of the Gilmore Girls revival.

In just eight days, the Eat Like a Gilmore Kickstarter campaign doubled its original goal of $20,000 and, as of the end of the campaign on April 16, 2016, it earned a total of $47,273 with 1,261 backers.

"We're thrilled to be partnering with Kristi Carlson on this fantastic project!" said Abigail Gehring, Associate Publisher at Skyhorse Publishing. "Fans of Gilmore Girls have made it clear through the Kickstarter campaign that they can hardly wait to get their hands on the book, so we're moving quickly to make copies available for the holidays. Eat Like a Gilmoreis fun, creative, and coming at just the right time to become a massive hit."

Kristi Carlson's Eat Like a Gilmore is a collection of recipes fit for the chefs of Stars Hollow, drawn from three themes to capture the spirit of Gilmore Girls: Food from a Small-Town Diner, Foods Served at Fancy Friday Night Dinners, and Foods Served at Charming, Eclectic, and Independent Inns. Readers will find recipes for all "food situations" and be struck nostalgic by these delicious treats from iconic moments shared with the Gilmores.

Excited readers who can't wait for the book can start cooking some Stars Hollow recipes with Kristi Carlson on her Gilmore-inspired blog.
