Krista White, Certified Matchmaker (CMM), Certified Personal Coach (CPC) and President of the Washington, D.C., franchise of It's Just Lunch, is publishing a guide to dating for busy professionals that will be available through Amazon's Kindle Store Friday, August 19th. The book is titled "Lies, Love and Lust over Lunch: A Matchmaker's Lessons of Rhythm and Blues", and is geared towards elite professionals like the clients White serves in the District of Columbia and surrounding counties. All proceeds from the sale of the book will be donated to the Humane Society of the United States, due to White's love for animals.

The book offers dating lessons about beginning to date, surviving first dates, and how to determine what you want in a partner, along with many more dos and don'ts on swimming in the dating pool. The chapters follow the arc of a dater's experience, from entering the pond, to finding a compatible mate and dropping anchor for a lifetime.

"Lies, Lust and Love over Lunch" is unique in its genre, offering usable dating tips based on true-life stories from White's experiences with her clients. Stories range from ludicrous to shocking and are all quite revealing. In her experience, White has learned that not every dater has the natural instinct to know how to prepare for a date, or properly conduct themselves on one.

This is why each chapter features a theme and provides a takeaway "love lesson" that daters should employ to avoid these all too common faux-pas. Through these themes, White gives readers insight into how to side-step dating fails such as poor hygiene, being too judgmental or becoming the "oversharer" by the time a date is done. Never abandoning the principle of utmost confidentiality, White has ensured the names of all daters depicted in the book have been changed to famous couples from history and pop culture.

In addition to the reality-based dating stories, White has incorporated an element all her own, likening the rhythm of a relationship to those found in classic rhythm & blues music. Each chapter of the book is subtitled with the title of a classic R&B song that relates to that chapter's love lesson. Each chapter also features the work of illustrator Robert William Askew, whom White teamed up with to create whimsical depictions of the embarrassing dating blunders described in each segment.
