Author Kevin Crozier makes his literary debut with his new Christian novel, "Reapers: The Preston Project" (published by WestBow Press), a murder mystery packed with suspense and adventure.

Set in the fictional city of Preston, "Reapers" centers around Detective David Becker, a homicide detective for the sleepy, rural city. When a body turns up one rainy morning, the coroners rule it an accidental death, but David suspects something much more sinister. As he begins to make inquiries, more bodies begin turning up.

David's investigation leads him to suspect a group of people are working to carry out these murders, and soon, David's detective skills as well as his spirituality are put to the test. David must choose the right path if he has any hope of bringing these murderers to justice.

"I want readers to realize that it is up to each individual to decide who they will follow," writes Crozier, "and also that there are evil, unseen forces constantly working to bring us to destruction."

An excerpt from "Reapers":

"This particular body currently lay in the morgue of Mercy Hospital in the city of Preston. This particular night, Mercy Hospital was being drenched in a downpour. The rain began just about an hour ago, slow at first. Now it was coming down in earnest."
