"Sophia of Silicon Valley" is a fast-paced roman a clef about one woman's journey through the tech world working for some of the greatest minds of our time. Kirkus calls it "…a much needed professional coming-of-age story" and Larry Kramer says, "Yen's roman a clef is a delightful, touching tale that is perfect for the tech-generation or anyone fascinated by its culture."

During the early aughts, Yen worked with big-name modern luminaries of Silicon Valley including Steve Jobs, Elon Musk and David Drummond. "Sophia of Silicon Valley" is inspired by her time spent as a woman in the bro-culture of the tech world and catalogs the ups and the downs of burning the candle from both ends in the name of innovation.

Chu is known for his visually stunning work in projects across genre, medium and budget. Whether telling a story through the language of dance in the "Step Up" films, music in the Justin Bieber documentaries, action in the "G.I. Joe" film, magic in "Now You See Me 2" or culture in his latest film "Crazy Rich Asians" (release date Aug. 17, 2018), Chu's signature style is bursting with energy and the definition of fun, pop culture entertainment.

Guests are required to purchase a ticket to attend the book presentation at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/anna-yen-tickets-42366204458?aff=web. Eventbrite tickets are limited and includes a hosted reception and one copy of "Sophia of Silicon Valley."
