FOUNTAIN, Colo.

God brings individuals from all walks of life to the town of Rock Creek, Colorado, for many different reasons. Some come to start families, while others come for redemption. While God chooses each of the townsfolk for a specific reason, he also chooses them because they have significant flaws. Despite these flaws, the town is rattled when something terrible comes their way - a murder.

A new group of people are preparing to enter Rock Creek. With the Colorado gold and water rights at stake and a murderer on the loose, the current residents take the newcomers as invaders rather than cordial neighbors. Furthering the town's hostility, the murder of Gloria Jones has been pinned on the wrong person.

Karen Gustafson, a recent arrival and aspiring teacher, hopes to help the community in her role at the local high school. Adam Claymore, a local rancher, believes in fighting for what is right, even if it means helping the newcomers. Together, the two must unravel the murder plot and find the truth, while a mysterious man in a trench coat searches for something he lost.

About the Author
Kenneth Lippincott is a community activist, neighborhood watch coordinator for his subdivision and retired educator. He served as a pastor, teacher, coach and administrator in Colorado, Wyoming and New Jersey. He received the Man of the Year award from local units of the Jaycees in Commerce City, Colorado, and also in Willingboro, New Jersey. From the New Jersey Jaycees, Lippincott received the Distinguished Service Award. Additionally, he received the Teacher of the Year award from the Colorado Springs Rotarians. Married 52 years, he and his wife, Karen, have two daughters and six grandchildren. They reside in Fountain, Colorado.
