Time travel has been around for many years now and it has led to many great changes around the world. Travelex, a new corporation that specializes on research and time travel, has chosen 20 people from various professions to explore history and eliminate the fear of time travel, as well as expand its purpose. But what if something goes wrong and time travelers get trapped or people find ways to break through the time bubble and start killing each other?

"Destiny's End" written by author Kathryn Leo tells the story of Ben, a history professor from Winston University who has been chosen to be one of the 20 people from various professions to "hyperjump" 80 years back in time. After days of undergoing important training exercises at Travelex, Ben and his 19 travel companions pass through a gateway which transports them from a big empty room to a courtyard outside. Ben looks at his wristwatch and it is not ticking. He turns around and notices that the porthole has already closed. Ben sure knows that there is no turning back now as he and his 19 companions is locked in the year 2020.

In the year 2020, Ben is hit by a speeding car on his way back to the other travelers from a museum he visited. He lost his vest and found himself broken through the time bubble. Because the hospital found no record of his existence, Dr. Leah Moore, an emergency doctor from John James Hospital took him home. Although his time bubble has a tracking device, the problem was that people can't penetrate it whenever they want. It will be a problem when they get back home. Ben was stranded in another time and wasn't sure if he could go back home. All he has is the support of a nice young doctor but he is not even sure how to get on after she helped him. What will Ben have to do to get back home? Will he need to confess and tell Dr. Moore the truth and convince her that he is a time traveler?

"Destiny's End" is an exciting sci-fi and a romantic read that lets readers follow the adventures of a time traveler as he is trapped in time and races against it to get back home. A page-turner of a read from beginning to end, this book also touches many issues such as man's future and destiny and how he can change things if he sets his mind to it.
