In “Mrs. Bumbleberry and the Ark” (published by WestBow Press), the second entry in author Kathleen Beining's “Mrs. Bumbleberry” series, young Katy goes to summer church camp with Mrs. Bumbleberry. There she discovers that not everyone is kind, but finds a new friend in Andi. Together, they learn about Noah and his ark.

Beining was inspired to continue the series saying that, “I wanted to write something that would show children how important it is to maintain values such as sharing, telling the truth, kindness, faith, etc.”

This colorful children's book aims to teach children that not everyone is nice, but there is still value in sharing. It's a happy story that uses humor and positive reinforcement to hopefully delight children and their parents.

“This is a simple story with simple values,” Beining explains. “Nobody has special magic or enhanced powers, just ordinary people in everyday life. It shows children it's okay to just be yourself.”
